Understand the decision
Begin with your existing fertility assessment and the treatment your clinician believes is appropriate. Then ask overseas clinics how they would assess the same information. A package title does not establish whether the proposed pathway matches your needs.
Put it into practice
Create separate lists for clinical care, eligibility, consent, donor information and travel. Identify who can answer each question. The HFEA regulates UK clinics and cannot resolve complaints about treatment overseas. Find out which regulator and complaint process apply at the destination before you commit.

Write down the questions that matter to your family before comparing clinics. Medical suitability, treatment eligibility, donor information and future access to records are separate issues; ask who is responsible for answering each one.
