Understand the decision
Bring the first proposal, your imaging and a written list of goals. Ask the second specialist to explain any differences in candidacy, target, device or rehabilitation. The value of another opinion is a clearer understanding of the decision, not simply collecting a lower quote.
Put it into practice
Ask both clinicians what findings would change their recommendation. Compare how they discuss uncertainty, unexpected events and long-term function. Give yourself time to reflect. If you cannot explain the trade-offs without repeating advertising phrases, ask for a further discussion before committing.
Keep the bigger picture in view
Cosmetic stature lengthening is a major orthopaedic undertaking. A decision needs an individual assessment of physical health, expectations and the support available over a prolonged recovery. A promised height gain cannot substitute for that assessment.
