LASIK reshapes the cornea to change how the eye focuses. It is not suitable for everyone. Ask the ophthalmologist to explain the findings that support or rule out the procedure, including your prescription history and eye health. An online price or questionnaire cannot replace that examination.

Describe your work, screen use, driving and sports. Ask what range of outcomes is realistic and whether you may still need glasses for some tasks. Request time to read the procedure information before signing consent. Keep the measurements and decision summary for future eye care.
