Understand the decision
Write down what the quoted price buys: consultation, procedure, medicines supplied, follow-up and any optional services. Ask whether the quote changes after the in-person assessment and what happens if the clinician advises against surgery.
Put it into practice
Add transport, time off work, an extended stay and any continuing treatment discussed with your doctor. A lower initial bill is not necessarily a lower overall commitment. Keep cancellation and refund terms with your clinical paperwork, and avoid making a rushed decision simply because a promotional deadline is approaching.
Keep the bigger picture in view
A hair restoration consultation should start with a diagnosis and a long-term plan. Ask the clinician to document your baseline, the proposed approach and the alternatives you discussed, including the option of waiting.
Before making a commitment, take the written proposal to a qualified clinician who can assess your own circumstances. Use the questions below to record answers and identify anything still unresolved. Keep the plan, contact details and agreed next steps together so you can revisit the decision without relying on memory.
Questions to take with you
- What happens financially if I am unsuitable?
- Which aftercare appointments are included?
- Are any add-ons genuinely optional?
